Beaming Lasers, a small physics game.

I wrote a small game when I first found Codea. Thought I would share it with you and see if you like it. :)

The code is available at https://github.com/tnlogy/codea-samples if you want to try it out. :)

Havent decided yet if I will complete it and submit it to the app-store.

Awesome, I like the way stuff gets pushed around.

That is a super slick demo. Nice job. I don't see why it shouldn't be on the app store.

And thanks for sharing your code. It really helps newbies like me see how things are done.

@tnlogy : awsome... How long did it take you to write this ''small game''?
And please, don't say ''a couple hours'', or i'll feel so stupid i'll definitely give up the idea to code my own game...

I wrote it on a three day weekend. But I've used box2d a bit earlier so I was familiar with some of the concepts. Fun that you like it!

For an art exhibition with an artist friend, I wrote a physics app in Moai, to critique dictators, which I'm thinking of converting to Codea, to see the difference in code layout depending on engine.

Do you plan to finish this game, because it's a very awesome and unique concept.

    Thanks for the positive feedback!

Yes, maybe I should spend some more time on it, now that the summer vacation is coming up soon.

  • This is very good
